Hello everyone,

Following the recent Government announcement in relation to Covid-19, and after seven weeks in isolation I am pleased to announce that Loobies Cleaning and Ironing Services will be able to start business once again.

From 1st June, it will be possible to begin visiting some households. Cleaning Services will start gradually and only in certain postcodes where they are ideally vacant or with as few people present as possible. This will allow the practice of Social Distancing safely and help reduce the spread of infection. Cleaning and hygiene standards will remain a priority especially travelling from one destination to the next as mentioned in a previous post.

Some houses may potentially prefer to wait until their children are in School, and this will reduce the congestion and the potential of risk. This can be monitored on a weeky basis with cleaning slots temporarily adjust to suit these requirements to assist before the end of the School term and the beginning of the Summer holidays.

Thank you all for your patience and understanding throughout this difficult time. Stay safe and see you soon. Please contact me as soon as possible if you would like a cleaning slot and we can discuss the way forward.

To all my clients,

Thank you all for your kindness and support shown to date, it has really meant so much.

However, I have decided that it's vital that I reduce my social contact with others and remain safely at home with my daughter until this epidemic is over. This means I am regrettably forced to close Loobies Cleaning Services until further notice.

This decision has not been easy, but with an increase in people working from home and with the School closures it would be practically impossible to practice 'social distancing' properly as advised by the Government.

Rest assured all allocated cleaning slots and client details will remain the same until the time is right to recommence my business once again.

In the meantime, I expect each and every household to keep up my hard work and keep your homes sparkly clean yourselves. I will be happy to mark your efforts and will reward with prizes (joking)! 😂

For those of you concerned with all the media coverage regarding the Corona virus, may I reassure my existing and future customers that I take great care and attention to minimise the potential spread of germs from one household to the next.

Firstly, using the clients hoover and cleaning products in their home where appropriate to avoid carrying germs. Although, my own cloths are used they are not transfered to other households and are contained in a laundry bag and after each clean washed at a high temperature with an antibacterial detergent.

In some houses where my own hoover and caddy is used may I assure you that it has always been regular practice to dissemble my hoover at the end of each week, thoroughly cleaning with antibac the parts, the filter removed, with the bag replaced. The cleaning caddy is also cleaned with antibac and its' contents.

My household cleans have always included disinfectant in the bathroom and kitchen areas and regular hand washing regularly carried out. Cloths are colour coded to ensure no cross contamination from toilet to other areas within the house whilst door handles, light switches and high traffic areas are wiped thoroughly with cleaning agent.

I hope you are happy for Loobies Cleaning Services to continue to clean your home and I believe that my services will almost certainly help protect the public against the spread of the virus. However, if at any point I become unwell rest assured I will cancel immediately and ask you do the same and I fully understand if you want to stop.

Welcome to my new clients :) I ask my clients to supply the relevant cleaning products to clean their homes. Loobies will supply cleaning cloths. In the event that clients products run out mid-clean or there is a job that needs it I will have a supply of Koh on hand.
