There’s honestly no better feeling than walking away from a property knowing it’s absolutely perfect, and seeing it glowing in the sunshine just makes it even better 💛

🎬 THE LAST FEW DAYS IN A NUTSHELL! 🎬

Non‑stop action as we turn around holiday lets, get everything sparkling guest‑ready, and keep everything running smoothly. And look at Beth absolutely smashing out today’s domestic clean solo! 💪🧹

It has been an incredibly, unbelievably busy week for us — back‑to‑back jobs, early starts and late finishes, but as always, we’re getting it all done and keeping those standards high ✨💛

We wouldn’t have it any other way though — love what we do, and love seeing every property look its absolute best.

As we head into our busiest time of year here at Clean Sweep Cornwall, we are looking for a friendly, reliable person to join our team! 🧹🌊

Whether you’re looking for regular part‑time hours or just the odd day here and there to fit around you — we’d love to hear from you.

🫧 Main role: Bed making & finishing touches
Perfect if you love making things look neat, fresh and welcoming — this is such an important part of what we do!

💰 Pay & Benefits:
✅ £13.50 per hour
✅ Mileage paid at 45p per mile
✅ Paid every Friday — no waiting around!

✨ KEEPING IT REAL & HONEST WITH YOU ALL ✨

I wanted to take a moment to be completely open and honest with everyone here, because what you see — sparkling clean homes, perfectly turned‑over properties, and everything looking pretty and effortless — is honestly only half the story. 🧹💛

Running your own cleaning business is far from easy. It is physically exhausting, hard, grafting work, and mentally it can be incredibly draining too. There is so much that goes on behind the scenes that nobody sees: the admin, the scheduling, the problem solving, the pressure to get everything perfect, and the constant juggling of it all. Being self‑employed is rewarding, but it is definitely not the “easy” option people sometimes think it is. 🫠

I started Clean Sweep Cornwall 3 years ago, my love for cleaning and my family are the eason I do this every single day ❤️

I took on my very first property back then, and that place has held such a special, huge place in my heart ever since. It was where it all began, where I learned so much, and where I grew into the business I am today.

This week though, has been one of the hardest weeks I’ve had in a long time. 🥺

As my business has grown, new doors have opened, and things have naturally changed — and I had to make the incredibly tough decision to let that very first property go. It sounds silly maybe, but saying goodbye to it has honestly upset me so much over the last few days. It feels like letting go of a big piece of my journey, and it hasn’t been easy at all.

But as the saying goes: “when one door closes, another opens”. 🚪✨

A wonderful new opportunity has come my way to fill that space, and I am now turning that sadness into excitement for what’s next. I am so ready for this next venture, and so proud of how far Clean Sweep Cornwall has come.

I share this because I want you to know — we work incredibly hard for every single sparkle, every happy client, and every property we look after. It’s not always pretty, it’s definitely not always easy, but it is always worth it. 💪

Thank you for being here, for supporting me, and for letting me do what I love. Here’s to growing, learning, and opening plenty more new doors in the future! 🥂🌊

Arrival complete today, and we’ve added all those little finishing touches and freshen‑ups to get everything absolutely perfect and guest‑ready. ☀️🌊

Our next guests are checking in for a week of glorious sunshine here in beautiful Cornwall — hope you’re ready for some serious heat! 😎🍦

👀 SPOT BETH - is she fixing the blinds or just hiding from me?! 😂🤭

But seriously — did you know Beth is our resident expert at all things sewing, repairs and yes BLINDS! 🪡🧵 It is honestly the most useful skill to have, because broken blinds seem to be our absolute most common issue at every property we visit! She works absolute magic and fixes them every single time. 💪✨

We don’t just clean — we fix, we sort, we sew and we make it all work! That’s the Clean Sweep Cornwall way. 💛

🌙 THAT’S A WRAP FOR FRIDAY! ✨

It is officially 1:30AM and I am finally settling down for the night, whilst attempting to get some admin done with my eyes practically closing on me! 😂📝 The absolute joys of running your own business, right? 😅

We finished up at what is honestly mine & Beth’s absolute FAVOURITE property to clean 🥰 It is absolutely stunning — breathtaking views over acres and acres of fields all around, beautifully decorated inside, and has such a lovely warm, cosy feeling to it 🌾🌿🏡

It’s all turned around, sparkling clean and 100% ready for our next guests to arrive just in time to enjoy this gorgeous heatwave heading our way! ☀️😎

🔥 BUSY, HOT & SMILING! 🔥

Changeovers all finished and arrivals sorted today and wow, what an incredibly busy and hot day it’s been! 🥵☀️ But as always, we pulled through, got it all sparkling and guest‑ready, and didn’t let the heat slow us down one bit! 💪✨

Back home now for a quick rest and recharge, then straight back out this evening to turn another property around and get it perfect for tomorrow 🚐💨

✨ DOMESTIC CLEAN DONE & DUSTED! ✨

Another lovely domestic clean completed last evening by myself and Beth 🧹💛

Every single inch got our thorough treatment — everything is fresh, spotless and sparkling from top to bottom ✨ We even drew all the curtains and blinds, and turned down the bed perfectly, so our lovely client could just walk in, relax and settle straight down for the night 🛌💤

Beth on lead trumpet (toilet roll slide = very technical 🤣) and me on drums (and very stylish headgear) 🪖

🌙 LATE NIGHTS & LOTS OF ELBOW GREASE! 💪✨

We were working late into the night yesterday — mission: get two ovens sparkling and everything fully guest‑ready for arrivals this week! 🔥🍖

But let’s be honest you should know us by now! 😂 We started with just the ovens and well, once we get going, we literally can’t stop! 🤣

We ended up pulling EVERYTHING out — kitchen cupboards emptied, every shelf cleaned inside and out, and then put back together with a whole new, better organised system to make it all easier to use 📦✨

Just look at the difference! It’s basically a brand new kitchen now! 🤩

Moral of the story:
Get yourself a cleaner you book for just an oven clean and end up with your whole kitchen deep cleaned, sorted AND perfectly organised too! 😆✅

That’s just how we roll here at Clean Sweep Cornwall — we don’t do things by halves! 💛

✨ TRANSFORMATION COMPLETE! ✨

Windows, decking, and every inch of the surrounding area all cleaned this morning, and just look at the difference! 🤩💎

From dull and weathered to sparkling, bright and fresh — it honestly looks brand new again! 🤍🫧 We scrubbed and detailed every single bit, because first impressions are absolutely everything, especially for holiday homes. 🛝🏡

It was a big job and took some serious elbow grease, but the results speak for themselves! 💪 Nothing makes me happier than seeing that “before and after” change, and knowing it looks perfect for the next guests to arrive and enjoy.
