Wentlooge Community Council serves the
communities of St Brides and Peterstone

Following a highly charged meeting this week, Wentlooge Community Council - WCC has launched a petition urging Newport City Council to take immediate action to address the extremely hazardous road conditions in our area.

We encourage widespread support by signing and sharing this petition with as many local groups as possible.

Our aim is to prompt swift and decisive measures from Newport City Council to resolve these serious safety concerns affecting our roads before something catastrophic happens.

The family of Marcus Barter who is missing have appealed for anyone with information on his whereabouts to please come forward.

📍 Marcus, 30, was last seen at around 2.30pm on Thursday 1 August near Coed y Caerau Lane in Newport.

Detectives as part of our major incident team have been carrying out a number of enquiries to find Marcus, and we are further appealing for the public’s help.

Anyone with information is urged to get in contact.
