That's the end of another year of sweeping chimneys, fitting cowls, removing nests, fixing tiles and everything else in between. But the best bit has been revisiting regulars and meeting new. It's the people not the chimneys that make it enjoyable and for that I thank you.

We always have our CCTV equipment with us.

This is an example of the damage a chimney fire can do to your Flexi liner.

Prevention is always better (and cheaper) than the cure.

Look what I found up in the chimney.....a crisp packet. This being lodged up in the cowl can cause blow downs, smoke and carbon monoxide unable to exit efficiently which can lead to leakage in the living room

Use the bin for rubbish, not the fire.
