We are a major drainage company based on Team Valley dealing with all aspects of sewage drainage within the North East area.
Due to internal promotions within the company we are looking to employ a Despatch/Administrator to cover this exciting and challenging role.
This is a despatch/call centre/administrative role providing support to customers and the operational teams.
Due to the nature of the work carried out the despatch team is required to operate 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
The shifts are 10am to 6pm and 3pm to 11pm.
Main duties and responsibilities
To plan and despatch all work in accordance with the priority of the job
To effectively plan and schedule work to maximise field staff productivity including the compilation of a daily whereabout diary system
To update and maintain the clients various work management systems
To ensure all data is accurate and updated to comply with the contract conditions
To telephone and update the clients customer with relevant information

Ability to prioritise workload accordingly
Good time management skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to meet deadlines whilst working under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ability to communicate effectively with both the client and operational staff
Flexible and able to cover other shifts within the 24/7 operation
High standard and experience in customer service is essential

Salary
GBP 7.5 - 7.8 starting rate. Additional hours available

Week One
role entails , working in a team also some lone working , admin and dispatching operatives to emergency calls throughout the NE of England, predominately work is based at our head office team valley with holiday and sickness cover at Northumbrian water in durham , on these occasions transport can be arranged.
call centre experience is not necessary training will be provided .
rate will be dependant on experience
