🚿💥 Well, this wasn’t on today’s cleaning checklist! 💥🚿

What started as a routine clean at one of our lovely fortnightly customers’ homes quickly turned into something much more dramatic.

For months, we had concerns about this shower screen as it appeared loose and insecure. Unfortunately, while cleaning it today, the screen suddenly collapsed and shattered into thousands of pieces, falling on top of one of my lovely team members.

Thankfully, she escaped with only a few cuts and bruises and is doing okay, but it gave us all quite a fright. It could have been so much worse.

As professional cleaners, we work hard to care for our customers’ homes, but situations like this are a reminder of how important it is to repair loose or damaged fixtures before they become a serious safety risk.

A huge thank you to my amazing team member who handled the situation so calmly and professionally despite being understandably shaken. ❤️

Please take a moment to check your shower screens, shelves, mirrors and other fittings at home. If something feels loose, it’s always worth getting it looked at.

Feeling a little heartbroken this week 💔

My beautiful daughter moved to the USA last Monday, and now my amazing husband has gone away for work. I’m so proud of them both, but it’s left such a big gap at home.

I’m lucky to still have my 7 gorgeous children here keeping me busy and smiling, but it doesn’t stop me missing them so much.

Here’s to new beginnings… even when they’re a little hard ❤️
