The last dance....

Tonight’s car is a bit special… and not just because it’s an Aston Martin DBS Superleggera Volante in Royal Indigo (aka purple… blue… depends how the light’s feeling).

This is the VERY LAST car to ever leave our workshop at Greenham Business Park.
We’ve been here since late 2017 and it’s seen everything — big details, odd jobs, late nights, early starts, and more polishing dust than I care to admit.

What we did:
- Enhancement Detail: deep clean, full decon, and a multi-stage machine polish
- Removed heavy etching marks, swirls and fine scratches to bring the paint back to life
- Fabric hood scrubbed clean + protected
- Finished with our DMC 5+ year ceramic coating for proper long-term gloss and protection

Fun (rough) Greenham numbers:
If we’ve averaged 4 cars a week since late 2017… that’s roughly 1,700+ cars through these doors.
Even if each one only took an average of 10–15 hours of cleaning/polishing/coating time… that’s around 17,000–25,000+ hours of graft in this unit.

Not bad for a place with a roof that occasionally tried to join in.

Now… onto the next chapter.

From 1st June, we’re in our new workshop — a massive step up. Purpose-built, designed around how we actually work after 15+ years in the game, and yes… the roof doesn’t leak.

Greenham… you’ve been good to us.

BMW M240i in Thundernight Metallic just wrapped up at DMC and this one was crying out for some TLC.

It came in for our Enhancement Detail to machine polish out loads of swirls, fine marks, and even some nasty bird poo etching (yep… that stuff is savage).

Once the paint was looking crisp again, we locked it all in with our DMC 5 Year Ceramic Coating for serious gloss, easier washing, and proper long-term protection.

2025 Porsche 992 GT3 RS (Weissach Pack) in for a proper DMC Protection Detail — and yep, it’s already wearing full PPF… but that doesn’t mean you can just “leave it and hope.”

We gave it the full treatment:
Full safe wash, deep clean + decontamination
Single-stage machine polish to refine the finish and bring the clarity back (even on PPF, it makes a huge difference)
DMC 5-Year Ceramic Coating applied over the PPF to help protect it from staining, etching, water spotting and general road grime sticking like glue

Then we went all-in on the details:
All exterior plastics treated + coated (because faded trims on a GT3 RS should be illegal)
Interior protected so it stays fresh, not shiny-and-greasy
Finished off with a new front plate installed to keep it looking as it should

Now… the car itself. This thing is basically a road-legal race car with number plates. The 992 GT3 RS runs a 4.0L naturally aspirated flat-six pushing around 525 PS, screaming to 9,000rpm, with aero that’s so serious it looks like it should come with its own pit crew. Massive downforce, track-focused suspension, and that Weissach pack diet to keep it as sharp as possible. Absolute weapon.

And here’s the bit that’s got us feeling a bit sentimental…
This is one of the very last cars we’ll be completing in our current unit before we step into the next chapter. The new DMC workshop is coming, and it’s going to be a proper home for this level of work — more space, more capability, and a setup that matches the cars we’re trusted with.

Keep your eyes peeled. Big things are about to happen.

Jaguar F‑Type R finished in Santorini Black after a full visit to DMC.

Work carried out:
- Enhancement Detail to refine the paintwork and remove defects
- DMC 5 Year Ceramic Coating for long-lasting gloss and protection
- Full wheel refurbishment in gloss black, then ceramic coated for easier maintenance
- Thorough interior detail throughout

In the sunshine the results really speak for themselves — crisp, defect-free paintwork with an incredible finish.

BMW M550i in Boston Green – all finished and looking unreal.

We’ve just completed a full refresh on this one, starting with the wheels. All four were fully stripped and refurbished in OEM grey, then diamond cut and finished with a satin lacquer. Once they were ready, we ceramic coated the wheels before refitting so they’re properly protected and much easier to keep clean.

Next up, the car itself had our DMC Enhancement Detail to refine the paintwork and bring the gloss back where it should be. To lock it all in, it was finished with our 5+ year ceramic coating for long-term protection and that deep, wet look.

Inside, the interior was given a thorough clean and freshen up to match the outside.

Something a bit different in the unit this week… 👀

Not one… but TWO Sinclair C5s getting the full VIP treatment.
Full resprays in colours matched to the owner’s real cars… and then we’re adding some custom touches that are a bit naughty.

Not saying any more yet — but these are going to be ridiculous (in the best way).
