In Memoriam Grave Care

In Memoriam Grave Care Friendly and professional grave tending service based in Newark-on-Trent and the surrounding areas. Please see the Services page for more information.

My name is Deborah Brown, founder of In Memoriam Grave Care, covering Newark on Trent and the surrounding area. From personal experience I know it is not always possible to visit the grave of a much missed member of the family. In Memoriam offers you peace of mind knowing the resting place of a loved one is cared for. Visits can be carried out at a frequency of your choice - monthly, quarterly or

maybe annually to coincide with a birthday or anniversary. A photograph will be taken before and after the works have been carried out. This will be posted or emailed to you, enabling you to see the difference the visit has made. Services include:

Leaving flowers of your choice
Removal of weeds and debris
Grass cut
Cleaning of the headstone or plaque
Vases emptied and cleaned
Stone chippings washed or replaced
Deep clean

Work will be completed within the regulations of the cemetery. Please feel free to contact me to discuss your requirements and arrange a quote.

I’ve had a peaceful evening tending a grave in the village of Stragglethorpe, Lincolnshire.

St Michael’s Church dates back to Anglo Saxon times, making it a fascinating place to visit.

It’s open during the summer months, so if you’re local, it’s well worth taking a look. The church is listed and includes Saxon and Norman features 🤗

A peaceful find during my recent visit to Gibraltar.

Just outside the city wall lies Trafalgar Cemetery, containing graves dating back to the early 19th century.

A fascinating piece of history and a welcome spot of shade on a very hot day.

One of my recent maintenance visits. A gentle clean front and back, removing grass buildup from around the base which was obscuring the inscription. Finishing with a fresh bouquet of roses to keep this resting place looking tidy and cared for 🤗💐

It’s been a rare pleasure this week, working beneath blue skies and warm sunshine 🤗

I spent some time in Balderton Cemetery caring for two plaques, gently restoring them with a careful clean and tidy and leaving fresh yellow plants. As cremation plaques lie flat, rainwater and debris can gather on the surface so a little regular attention goes a long way.

Ongoing visits are now planned throughout the year and photographs will be shared with the family after each visit.

There was a beautiful carpet of colour in the cemetery this week 🌼
