Do your gutters need clearing?

With the leaves falling and the moss washing off the roof, it's that time of year when your gutters can really start to overflow.

Here's a few before and after pictures from a recent commercial gutter clearance in Nantwich. With almost half a kilometre to clear, we decided to bring in a cherry picker for both safety and efficiency.

We were recently in Wybunbury cleaning some Indian sandstone and a concrete pathway for a lovely lady

She was concerned about falling over on the slabs when they were wet, as the algae was making them very slippery.

We used pressure to remove the bulk of the biofilm, and then gave certain areas a soft wash to remove some of the more stubborn lichen.

Safe to say we had a very happy customer!

This week we tackled a large commercial building in Crewe. The client was concerned that pathways surrounding the building had become very slippery and wanted them cleaning to avoid any accidents.

With such a large area to cover, this job required our flat surface cleaner to remove the bulk of the algae and lichen from the concrete slabs. We think it came up great, especially a couple of days later when it had thoroughly dried out!

A couple of weeks ago saw cleaning a patio, driveway and some garden walls for a lovely customer just outside Nantwich.

The patio has been cleaned annually for a number of years so just needed a refresh, but the walls and driveway had not been cleaned in over 20 years! The walls proved to be a challenge without the use of chemical, but this wasn’t an option on this job. Despite this, they look so much better!

Debris under the hedge was removed before cleaning the driveway. We turned the pressure down to not damage the tarmac, but kept it just high enough to remove the unsightly moss.

A happy customer and already booked in for the same again next year!
