We’re looking for experienced domestic cleaners to cover homes in and around Much Wenlock. If you take pride in your work and love leaving spaces sparkling, we’d love to hear from you!

Experienced cleaners only

Own transport essential

Excellent attention to detail & high standards

Friendly, positive can‑do attitude (non‑negotiable!)

Happy to work solo and as part of a team

⏰ Hours

Flexible, mainly within school hours

Typically between 9:15am – 3:00pm (variable to start)

Must be able to cover some hours during school holidays

💷 Pay & Trial Period

£14 – £16 per hour, depending on experience

4‑week trial period

I started Charlies Angels Cleaning Services back in October 2019 — and what a journey it’s been!

We’ve been through so much together…
🧤 From COVID, working all the way through following government guidelines (and paying £15 a box for gloves that now cost £6!)
⛽ To the fuel crisis when petrol nearly hit £2 per litre — and my amazing customers helped us keep going by paying a little extra.
💷 Then came VAT and the cost of living crisis… each hurdle felt like it might be the one to stop me, but we kept pushing forward.

I’ve had ups and downs — expanding the team, welcoming new clients, and facing challenges along the way. But every single step has made me stronger and more determined to keep this business going.

To my loyal customers and my lovely team of cleaners — thank you for sticking by me and for believing in what I’m building. Things will never be perfect, but we always strive to get close.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping me support my family and keep this dream alive. 💖

This was a pre-occupancy clean that took myself and Caroline Tench a full 9 hours to complete. I hadn’t even viewed this job beforehand but took it on after a last-minute cancellation — and I’m so glad we did!

It’s important to say that these types of cleans are not 2–3 hour jobs. They take time and detail, but the end result is always worth it — a fresh, spotless home that’s ready for new tenants to move straight in 🏡💫.

What’s involved in a deep pre-occupancy clean?

This post is very true , I know my customers understand this as you are all super understanding.. However there may be some people looking in trying to understand why I charge what I do..in all honesty I don't charge as much as other agencies I charge below £32 ph , the costs involved in running a business such as Transport, insurance, my Zenmaids notification and invoice system..cleaning products Hoover's and maintenance PAT testing and then on top of all that the cleaners have to be paid a decent hourly rate for the hard work that they do, so please if you question the price you are being charged remember the time that it allows you back to do other things and that it is a luxury.. I stand behind my cleaners both ladies and gents and applaud them for all their hard work in the heat in the cold and sometimes very difficult situations.. they battle through the majority of situations that most people wouldn't! So please join me in thanking them all for the hardwork they do.. 💚💛💚💛🩵💛
