This flat roof was in a bit of a mess! We had a fence that had been screwed through the old felt roof (never a good idea) I’m sure most would have left it well alone but we love a challenge. We choose our materials based on the roof and the details on it. The customer for obvious reasons didn’t want a full rip up so a felt overlay was the choice on this! We would always rather go back to rafters but we’re not always in control, we also understand the financial impact of a full rip up.

This roof will last in excess of 10 years with a 2 layer overlay done properly.

Don’t forget it’s not just rain 🌧️ that affects a roof, excessive heat can also cause issues on roofs. Old felt roofs may start to blister and bubble, if large enough the felt will split leaving your roof with a hole in. Don’t neglect your roof take 5 minutes out of your day it could save you thousands 💰.

🔥 Garage Roof Upgrade 🔥

This property in Bletchley was certainly in need of a new flat roof, it’s not often we use standard EPDM as a roof covering but for garage roofs it’s ideal, one sheet, no laps, nowhere for water to ingress, happy days ⚒️

If your in need of a new flat roof across MK drop us a message or email today, don’t leave it for the bad weather this will cost you more as the damage increases.

TIP- find a trade that specialises in there craft and you won’t be needing a new flat roof in a years time. Ask for certificates. Ask local people, don’t go off reviews that most people pay for!

📍 The Beeches- Upper Heyford- phase 1 completed 📍

This was a pleasure to watch unfold, 3 Fully vented lead top dormers completed by the super talented Will from WJS Leadwork and Roofing ltd from advice through to ex*****on this man has it all and a real pleasure to work alongside for this part of the project. These roofs had previously been done in GRP only a couple of years ago and unfortunately been installed incorrectly. The client wanted something long lasting and in keeping with the rest of the property so code 5 lead was the material choice chosen by our client.

Phase 2 is also complete and will be uploaded soon so keep your eyes peeled for that one ⚒️

📍 The Beeches- Steeple Aston 📍

That’s phase one completed on our steeple Aston project. Unfortunately this roof had been done by a builder less than two years ago and was already failing.

A full Ress-Tec Flexitec liquid overlay was our choice on this project, a beautiful property now with a roof that will last some years.

✅ Another project down ✅

We have now completed x3 houses in Bletchley all next to each other. It’s always nice to be recommended, the majority of our works comes through recommendations which fill us with joy.

This project was a fun change for the lads, it was off with the old and in with the new. A fresh clean look and a freshen up of the old sheets. This time a more durable sheets 16mm double wall to last longer than the originals.
