2005 BMW R1100S BoxerCup

Back in 2005, if you owned one of these, people noticed.
The BoxerCup edition was the bike to have — sporty, different, and packed with character long before “modern classic” became a trend.

This example is in stunning condition and now looking even better after receiving a full detail and ceramic coating by MK Pro Detail.

Our detailing packages continue here

This week we had in a 2013 Mercedes E250 TDI for a full decontamination, covered in overspray and tree sap.

Heavy clay bar session required followed by a multi stage machine polish removing heavy swirls & scratches ready for the sealant wax.

We also carried out a Full interior valet to the interior bringing the material back to life.

Our client also asked to have x4 Calipers cleaned, prepped, and sprayed gloss red followed by black AMG stickers to really make the car stand out ready for the summer season 😎

A recent job we took on with this BMW 220i — easily some of the worst tree sap damage we’ve seen in a long time.

This vehicle had been left sitting underneath multiple trees for an extended period, allowing the sap to bake and melt deep into the paintwork.

After two other detailers turned the job down, we accepted the challenge.

This wasn’t a case of simply hitting it with a rotary and heavy compound. The contamination had etched far too deeply into the clear coat.

To safely restore the finish, we carried out a full wet sanding process on the bonnet, roof, and bootlid using:

• 1500 grit
• 2000 grit
• 3000 grit
• 4000 grit

Paint readings initially started around 120 microns, with final readings averaging approximately 102 microns after correction.

A huge amount of precision and care went into saving this paintwork while retaining as much clear coat as possible.
