Not carpet cleaning related, but I wanted to share a really great experience I had over the weekend.

I visited the URB Farm in Milton Keynes for a beekeeping experience my wife bought me as a birthday present, and can honestly say I'd recommend it to anyone. It was fascinating, hands-on, and something completely different.

What surprised me most was that I've lived in Milton Keynes my entire life and never even knew this place existed. It's tucked away on a small housing estate in Wolverton, and there's a good chance you've driven past it without realising what's there.

URB Farm is much more than just a veg farm. It's a fantastic local charity that gives so much back to the community. They have a farm shop selling produce from the farm (like local honey, fresh veg and much more), run events and talks with guest speakers, and do incredible work supporting young people by helping them build confidence, learn practical skills and gain qualifications in a way that suits them. You may have even heard of cycle saviours which is also linked to them.

There are loads of different activities available, so whether you're looking to learn something new, spend time with the family or simply support a brilliant local cause, it's well worth a visit.

If you're looking for something a bit different, I'd definitely encourage you to take a look and support them if you can.

I'm already planning a return visit with my kids so may see you there.
