Well, I knew writing this post was going to be hard but going through all my photos to somehow try and pick 20 out made it that bit harder.
Over 6 years ago I finally took the plunge to start doing what I love full time and created FMG Valeting. From starting out on my driveway then to the back of a ford focus up to a good ol’ transit van and now to the blue beast we’ve all seen on someone’s drive. I loved every moment of being a mobile valeter and learnt something every step of the way. After a few years I managed to get a unit to start detailing from and 3 years later I am where I am now , knocking out full details whilst keeping on top of all the regular mobile valets. Doing all of this as a one man band has its ups and downs and can cause a lot of stress on me mentally and physically but always seems worth it at the end of the day. That being said to take the next step of my detailing career it would take over my life completely which after getting married recently isn’t what I planned for.
After being offered a full time position in a roll that I think suits me perfectly I had to have a serious think about the decision and after speaking with family and friends we decided it would be better to take on a new challenge and take the next step in my life therefore ending FMG Valeting
This is all very personal and emotional but I feel like all of my customers have become friends and I wouldn’t be where I am today without them! I’m proud to say I’m ending this era on a high and can say I’m proud of every car I worked on.
Maybe we’ll all see FMG Valeting make a full return one day but for now it’s little private jobs and the odd weekend clean.
Thank You all for everything!
Fraser , FMG Valeting
