We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and creative Activity Assistant to join our team.
In this role, you will plan and deliver a varied programme of meaningful activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
-Plan, organise, and deliver a wide range of individual and group activities.
-Encourage residents to participate based on their interests, abilities, and preferences.
-Celebrate birthdays, seasonal events, and special occasions.
-Organise outings and entertainment where appropriate.
-Work closely with residents, families, and the care team to develop personalised activity plans.
-Maintain activity records and evaluate participation.
-Ensure activities are delivered safely and in line with health and safety policies.
-Support residents to maintain independence, confidence, and social connections.
