If you’ve got kids and drive a Land Rover Discovery, you already know the struggle is real 😅
Between school runs, snack emergencies, sports practice, and weekend adventures, the Discovery basically becomes a second home — just one that slowly fills with crumbs, juice spills, mystery smudges, and enough glitter to craft a lifetime of art projects.
This week it was time for a serious deep clean.
I’m talking about:
🧃 Sticky cupholder situations
🍪 Crushed biscuits ground into the seats
🎒 Muddy footprints on the seatbacks
🖍️ Surprise crayon “art” in places crayons should never be
🧸 Half a toy shop living under the seats
You don’t realize how messy things have gotten until you pull everything out. Suddenly you’re finding long-lost water bottles, single socks, LEGO pieces, and snacks that are… well… no longer snacks.
But here’s the satisfying part ✨
A proper deep clean means:
• Vacuuming every corner (yes, even those impossible seat gaps)
• Wiping down all the panels and leather
• Shampooing the carpets and seats
• Cleaning sticky fingerprints off windows and screens
• Restoring that fresh, just-detailed smell
And when you step back to admire it?
It feels like picking up a brand-new Discovery again. The seats look better, the cabin smells fresh, and for a brief, beautiful moment… there is no chaos.
Of course, the kids climbed back in five minutes later — armed with snacks — but still, the reset was worth it.
Because sometimes a deep clean isn’t just about the car…
It’s about reclaiming a little bit of calm in the middle of family life 🚙✨
