So FYI, moving forward any pics or information I share I will get signed documentation from the client stating I can do so instead of just a verbal statement!! These will be kept on file and I re iterate I’d never ever share anything that would give the identity of the person or where their property is 🙄…..

So my last post has got the attention of what seems to be a lot of law experts on gdpr confidentiality and diagnosis’s….. not once did I say the client had drug induced schizophrenia… I haven’t broken any confidentiality as there’s not one thing that would identify who or where the client lives. I have also had permission from social services that I can share pics as long as those details aren’t shared, which after working years as a care manager I already know this. Rubbish was removed only at this point (yes by a biohazard waste removal company) although at this point only empty cans and general rubbish where disposed of (no needles or bodily fluids) I do have all the relevant work assessments Ppe and insurances for the cleans I do (including needle sweeping) my posts are purely for awareness and so people know there are services out there to help. I get absolutely no payment from any social media platforms (haven’t mastered how to use TikTok) you do you and il do me. But thankyou to those who give positive empathetic feedback 🙌

Tough one today. The client wasn’t supposed to be in the property (drug addiction and schizophrenia ) he was supposed to be in a hotel whilst the cleaning took place. We managed a couple of hours got rid of the rubbish but he was getting too agitated. After finding some concerning weapons and having my daughter with me I decided not to push it too far so we will go back at a later date and after pics will be uploaded (luckily my daughter works in care so wasn’t too phased by anything but I wasn’t risking anything happening to her) from what I can gather this person as had a very troubled childhood. Just hope we can get it finished befor he’s evicted 🥹

Annoys me when people with mental health issues aren’t taken seriously. One of my clients is awaiting surgery she’s in constant pain every week with UTIs so much so she spends most weekends in urgent care getting fobbed off with antibiotics…. Well today I spoke to the surgery and told them I wanted her cultures testing so the right ones can be given. 5 mins later bring down a sample and we will do it 🤯 they have her notes they know her history so why has she been fobbed off time and time again 🤬
