The hydrophobic properties kick in and you can see the car practically drying itself, with the water being sent straight off the panel.

Brand new from the factory… but not exactly showroom clean! 👀
This car had only been with its new owner for a week, but it had already picked up a fair bit of dust and dirt — and the inner door panels were particularly dirty.
A thorough exterior valet was carried out to bring it back up to the standard a brand-new car should be at, finished off with a protective sealant for some added gloss and protection. ✨

Today I had an Audi Q2, Land Rover Defender and Harley-Davidson Sportster S in for the bank holiday deal.
6 months into running Mac’s Valeting now and I’m still getting a real mix of cars, vans and bikes through the door, which is great to see.

My van looked clean… until I sprayed this on it 😂
Gave the van a wash and it looked spot on, then sprayed the whole thing with iron fallout remover. The pink you see is the chemicals reacting with contaminants stuck in the clear coat.
Safe to say there was a fair bit on there 😳😂
Just goes to show, even when a car looks clean, there can still be loads of contamination sitting in the paint.
Clean doesn’t always mean clean 👀
