🔥LED’s all out in the sauna!

📞Recieved a call for all lights out on the sauna.

💦Replacement Spa Air Blower.

Replaced faulty air blower with new for the spa.

💦 Commercial spa balance tank valve failed.

Found the spa balance tank over filling running out the overflow pipe.

Found the broken float valve faulty with the float disconnected from the arm causing the water to continuously fill the tank.

This has been an issue for the spa heating to struggle to reach temperature due to the continuous cold water flowing into the spa.

Isolated the mains water to the tank, drained the tank and replaced the valve.

Another job fixed by Poolgenix Ltd👍🏻

💦 Commercial sand change on 2 pool and 1 spa filters.

⚒️ Site had issues with sand going back into the pool, suspected lateral or air bleed tube fault.

😰Upon emptying the pool filters we found the air bleed tube broken causing sand to fill the laterals causing sand to go back into the pool.
We capped off the air tube inside the hub for this issue not to happen again in the future.

🤮The spa filter sand was in a very poor state, channelling had occurred, the sand was solid in places causing poor filtration and non effective backwashing.

All laterals replaced along with new lid gaskets and capped off air tubing from all hubs.

🔥This project was managed extremely well, communication was key as this on a deadline with minimal disruption.

We managed to keep the pool running throughout with the spa being closed for half a day while works were carried out as arranged prior to works commencing.

Another successful job carried out by Poolgenix Ltd along with our ever reliable sub contracting team.

💦 Commercial Hydropool pump replacement.

Poolgenix was contacted by another pool company for us to install this circulation pump.

As you can see in the video the pump was leaking like a river, suspected mechanical seal failure.
Also the pipework is way out from the pump, supported the pump underneath to help line up fittings, but wow! 🤦‍♂️

Replaced the pump, tested and hand over to site.
No more leaks and all back up and running 👊🏻

💦 Dosing tanks a little too close for our liking.

We was contacted via another company to carry out the separation of these two dosing tanks.

In our commercial world chemical tanks must be at opposite ends of the room or in a separate room to minimise cross contamination.

We see this quite often at sites where the same chemicals are either stored in the same room or the tanks are close together.

The consequences could be huge along with health and safety it’s just not safe for chemicals to be placed in this position.

After explaining this to the site they wanted this sorted asap.

Chlorine pump and tank moved and now only have a short dosing line which is preferable.
