It’s that time of year when the pigeons come back into roost on properties theve been gone all summer but they have started to pitch back up . At Tweed Pest Control we give full support on pigeon problems and we will happily proof a window cill to a full premises using the award winning Bird Defender Spikes . With autumn coming at us fast the challenges change to rodents folks that I’ve proofed there properties over the years don’t have that worry as proofing is the way to go on this .
A mouse will easy get through a standard ventilator on a property or climb that ivy , roses , or any thing that goes up wards cut it back or let us .
When mice have access to a cavity they have access all areas and are so good at squeezing in .
Once proofing has been done then a round up of trapping inside property and the job is done .
Plus always happy to give in house trapping to owners plus we sell a range of pro trap safety boxes that you can carry on with ie out in the garage in sheds or out buildings to keep nos down .
Proofing is pro active takes a bit to get done but saves the dreaded year round ah the mice are back .

Here’s a wee tip going into autumn please if you have a wasp nest in coming weeks don’t block the entrance it’s worst case senario .
Pest controllers need access to treat nests as they are very large you are just spreading wasps around inside the property trying to get out again really not good makes for a much more expensive treatment and your property runs chance of wasps poping out all over the place .
Nests are very strong at moment they have slowed down iam sure every pest controller will be glad as it’s been out of control this summer .

Remember keep this lot from being blocked in your property by leaving entrances well alone cheers Kevin .

As pest controllers we all do our best to help out and get your problems sorted .
At the moment there’s a wasp spike and calls are of the radar . We are doing all we can to get to everyone .
If you have a problem in enclosed areas ie sheds garages nos of wasps have really come on especially out door wasp nests .
Kept clear of these areas till a pest controller gets out and safely removed the nest .
Higher up nests at least are out the way but this weather is very good for wasp developments .

Just a wee heads up in coming week with weather temp rising and getting out and about in garden wasp nests seem to be enjoying our outdoor space ie in and around decking’s and furniture strange places plus under cover in log stores just be aware if you see wasps take a minute to see where there going .
