A little update from us 🔧

Unfortunately, our pressure washing van is off the road due to engine failure, which has delayed some of our planned work. Repairs are underway, and we’re hoping to be back up and running as usual next week.

In the meantime, we’re still carrying out commercial gutter cleaning and cherry picker hire, while the girls have been busy keeping our interior cleaning work running as usual.

To everyone we’ve had to reschedule, thank you for your patience and understanding. We’re working hard to get back to everyone as soon as possible! 🧡

Trumpington yesterday, Parkside today! 👷‍♂️🍂

Following yesterday’s post about our new contract covering five colleges, here’s the team getting stuck into the clearance work at Parkside.

Moss, leaves, silt and debris have been building up in the gutters, roof valleys and drainage channels—with plenty hidden from view at ground level.

Our cherry picker has been helping us reach the high-level guttering. Take a look through the before-and-after photos to see the difference! 📸

More updates to come as we work across the five colleges.

🟠⚫ New Cambridge contract underway!

We’ve started roof and gutter clearance across five college and school sites in Cambridge, beginning at Trumpington Community College.

Our three-man team and tracked cherry picker tackled moss, vegetation and debris around the roof areas, gutters and drainage channels between the solar panels. All waste was bagged and taken away. ✅

We also spotted blocked outlets and a broken leaf guard, documenting these in a photo report so they can be put right.

A busy start for the Pro Clean Xtreme team—on to the next site! 💪

Third and final week at Ravensworth Gardens, Cambridge 👷‍♂️

We’ve got two blocks left to finish cleaning the stone banding, window sills and capping, alongside a few roof tile replacements and the paths around the secret garden.

We originally estimated completion for Friday 16th October, and we’re on track to meet that date.

A big thank you to the team for their hard work, and to the residents for their patience while we work around the site.

Looking forward to sharing the finished results!

Finished a cherry picker hire for Art On Glass in Hunstanton this morning, so I thought I’d take the dog for a walk on the beach.

I drove into the car park and halfway in realised the picker was too high for the barrier. I couldn’t go forward, and I couldn’t reverse because I’d got a puncture. I had to call the number on the sign and wait for someone to come and open it 😂

I’m out now, and after finding somewhere the picker actually fits, she finally got her beach walk!

Thinking about it now, I could’ve started the machine and lowered the legs, but there was a car behind me and I got flustered 😂

Work is now underway at Ravensworth Gardens in Cambridge! 💪

Over the next few weeks, we’ll be cleaning the external brickwork, architectural stonework, walls, pathways, steps and communal areas across Blocks A–G.

We’re using controlled low-pressure steam cleaning throughout, with no chemicals, and our 21-metre tracked cherry picker to safely reach the higher areas.

The first results are already looking great, with years of organic staining being carefully removed from the stonework.

Plenty more progress to come!

Another cherry picker hire completed today in Leicester for Graham at South Leicester Chimney Sweeps, one of our regular trade customers.

We supplied our 21-metre tracked cherry picker with operator, giving Graham safe access to fit two new chimney cowls and re-flaunch the top of the chimney stack.

A straightforward and efficient alternative to scaffolding for chimney sweeps, roofers and other trades needing safe access at height.

Stage two of this timber cladding restoration in Huntingdon 👌

We previously cleaned the cladding for one of our regular customers, removing years of dirt and weathering. We’ve now returned to apply a fresh protective stain, bringing the rich colour back into the timber while helping to protect it from the elements.

Plenty of preparation involved, with the windows, stonework and surrounding areas carefully covered before work began—but what a difference already!

We’ll share the finished results once it’s complete.

Only two years old—and the guttering was already completely blocked! 🌱

After heavy overnight rain, the overflowing gutter caused a large leak inside this industrial unit and its upstairs offices.

Despite the building being just two years old, the gutters were packed with leaves, soil and established vegetation, completely restricting the flow of water to the outlet.

We received the call first thing in the morning, attended as a matter of urgency and had the guttering cleared later that same morning—earning a fantastic 5-star review from the customer. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It shows how quickly commercial guttering can become blocked, especially around nearby trees. Regular inspections and planned maintenance can prevent internal water damage and costly emergency call-outs.
