Hey everyone! Just a quick friendly tip from the world of mobile detailing:
As winter sets in and the temperatures drop, machine polishing doesn’t always give the best results. Most people understandably don’t know how it works, but polishing relies on generating enough heat in the panels to help the scratches and marks level out. In low temperatures, it’s really hard to get that heat into the paint, which means the results just aren’t as good as they should be.
So if you’re thinking about a proper machine polish, it might be worth holding off for a couple of months until the weather warms up. In the meantime, detailed washes and good protective treatments will still keep your car looking fresh through winter.
Stay warm, and look after your cars out there!
