If your carpet needs a lift me up grab yourself a sponge mop get hot water with fabric softner and do Hoover movements... this is after I hovered

Trying to remove animal hair from fabrics can be like sweeping sand in the dessert. Get a wet rubber glove and just wipe it off. This can be used on garments too. Give it a try. Its extremely effective.
