Positive cases of bird flu have been reported in the Whitehaven Harbour area. Please do not worry but do take the following precautions as advised by DEFRA to minimise the risk of spread

🔵Always keep your dogs on a lead
🔵Do not touch wild birds
🔵Do not feed the birds
🔵Wash your hands thoroughly if you do come into contact

We understand it can be distressing to see ill or injured birds but please do not be tempted to touch them. Do contact our office on 01946 592933 and speak to a team member or leave us a message for any birds on the Harbour. We will then be able to deal with the birds in the appropriate manner. For any ill or injured birds on the water side of the Harbour please call the Marina on 01946 692435.
