DEEP/VOID CLEANING RESOURCES FOR CORONAVIRUS
Dear Customer,
Following the geometric rise and increasing number of cases confirmed positive for the Coronavirus/COVID-19 in the UK and across the world, it is only right to abide by the preventive measures against spreading the virus.
During this time, we take commercial, deep and void cleaning techniques very important while the Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) continues with close monitoring of the outbreak.
Cleaning Products for Coronavirus
While coronavirus is contagious, we understand most of the cleaning products in the market can combat it. Currently there are no test measuring the efficacy of the cleaning products against COVID-19 but our material Supplier have a good idea of what products will work and help mitigate it, thanks to their past experiences with SAR-CoV and MERS-CoV (both of which are previously coronaviruses). This type of virus is easy to inactivate on non-porous surfaces.
As the coronavirus is typically spread through hand contact, we will be disinfecting any and all surfaces that are touched meaning all door k***s, all surfaces and light switches, to name a few will be our priority to disinfect during cleaning call outs.
For deep and commercial cleaning products to fight the coronavirus, we will be using an EPA-registered disinfectant having microbiocidal activity against pathogen on hard and non-porous surfaces.
On-site Protocol
Beyond using the right cleaning products, our focus remains on supporting our customers and staff and we will continue to take the right steps based on the guidance of experts. Diamonds Services Limited will ensure Cleaners are all geared up to fight against coronavirus and stop it from spreading by wearing the proper personal protective equipment, including gloves and masks where applicable and follow our strict and proper hygiene techniques before, during and after a shift.
Increased Cleaning Schedules
During this time, it is wise to consider increasing the frequency of cleaning schedules and put a focus on disinfection versus spot cleaning. For our public building clients with high traffic spaces, we remain extra diligent and have put forward the following cleaning guide in place.
-Increasing the frequency of cleaning areas with high contact points, such as toilets, lifts refuse bins and hand rails, amongst others.
-Cleaning toilets regularly and paying attention to areas with high human contact, such as water taps, door, cistern handles, seats and cover flaps, wash basins, grab poles, buttons and switches.
-Ensuring refuse bins are covered at all times, cleared daily and free from spillage.
We stand ready and well prepared to support our customers and each other as we navigate our way through what lies ahead.
