Smear marks caused by fur – both mice and rats are grubby, and will leave smear marks wherever they go after rubbing along walls, skirting boards etc.
Chewed clothing, fabric or other materials from their gnawing.
Nesting materials such as shredded cardboard, fabric or paper.
