One of the many jobs completed this week. These honey bees unfortunately had to be evicted from their home. Luckily for them the building owner called us and not one of our competitors who are known to just kill them🙁. These have been rehoused in our very own apiary and join almost 1 million bees we have rescued this year.

At 3C, it's done when it's done, even if that is 9pm. There is a very good reason for an extra long day, these honey bees had swarmed and needed rescuing. 3C came to their aid. They are now tucked up safe and warm in their new home.

How's this for something different? One of our pestcams caught this image along side the chickens in a domestic residents garden. We are thinking it's an escaped naturalized ferret due to the light colouration but it could be an elusive polecat. What do you think?
Whatever it maybe it is where it belongs (in the wild) and the chickens are extremely well protected. Good luck to our newest little friend👍👍

It’s swarm season! If you see a large cloud of bees congregating somewhere or a large cluster of them hanging on a branch, sign, fence post, etc, DO NOT BE FRIGHTENED! These bees are homeless wayward travellers and looking for a new place to set up a hive. They not only have no home to defend, but they are also full and fat on honey so that they have enough resources to start fresh wherever they end up. This is the calmest you will ever see a honeybee. Contact me or another beekeeper and I am more than willing to come get them!
