🚨 Part-time Self-Employed Helper / Labourer wanted – local carpet & upholstery cleaning 🚨

I'm Edward from Primokleen (primokleen.co.uk) – a small, independent carpet and upholstery cleaning business based in Cookham (Maidenhead area). We've been going strong since 2011 (15+ years), with over 170 five-star Google reviews and a solid reputation for top-quality work in homes and businesses.
Looking for someone to join on a self-employed / subcontractor basis – super flexible, no employment contract or full-time strings attached. You come to the base in Cookham each morning (we load the van and head out together), and return at the end of the day.
Extra perk for locals: If you live in Cookham or Bourne End, I'm happy to pick you up in the mornings and drop you off after work – makes it really straightforward!
The role – part-time hands-on labouring / assistant:
- Supporting cleaning jobs: moving furniture, prepping rooms, running the machines, vacuuming, carrying equipment, loading/unloading the van
- Proper physical work – on your feet most of the day, lifting and moving in different properties
- No experience in carpet cleaning required – full training provided if you're keen to learn the trade properly
Hours are part-time and variable – mostly weekdays, some Saturdays possible, depending on bookings. Steady work throughout the year, but flexible day-to-day.
Ideal candidate – a local youngster wanting to learn a skill!
- Young person (local lad/lass) looking for part-time earnings while picking up a useful trade – this would be ideal
- Reliable, hard-working, honest and proud of a job well done
- Fit and comfortable with physical, hands-on work
- Able to get to the Cookham base each morning reliably
- If you live in Cookham or Bourne End, I'll pick you up and drop you off
- If you don’t live close enough for that (e.g. further out in Marlow, Maidenhead, Windsor etc.), you will need a full UK driving licence (and your own car) to get to base each day
- Self-motivated and flexible for part-time shifts
