This Golf spent a lot of time under the knife, it went from race car to show car.
✅Washed and Decontaminated Bodywork, Stickers and Race Decals removed in the process.
✅Interior stripped out completely for a deep clean (all that was left was the dash and the carpets).
✅Paintwork Restoration involved every machine, compound, pad and technique I had at my disposal.
✅The interior parts were cleaned from every angle, leather all deep cleaned and treated to some leather moisturiser and left to absorb and then treated with a leather protectant. All the plastic brackets and covers washed and cleaned, some even polished, followed up by a nice plastic dressing.
✅Paintwork and all external surfaces have been wiped down with an alcohol based solution to remove any grease or oil left behind by the previous steps and prepped for coating, inspected with different type of lights to ensure the paint work is as good as it can be.
✅Ceramic Coating application using infra red heaters and laser thermometers to ensure the temperature is correct to allow to ceramic coating to form a strong bond with the paintwork.
✅After allowing several days inside to cure, everything got re-assembled and after a final wipe over the interior was finished.
✅One last touchless wash to get rid of the dust that settled and check the water behaviour.
This was done a little while ago but I’ve been waiting for some photos from the customer once the new wheels are on.
One of the most difficult jobs I’ve done so far, but also one of the most rewarding job.
