The average age we currently see Dementia is just 5 years after the number I’m standing next to here

Age 65 is when dementia is diagnosed, however it can also appear at 40 or 50 and sometimes even younger

This is me at leg 6 of the hilly 100, a relay@ from Stratford along the country routes 10 sections of the most ups and downs, to arrive in Stratford again

Alzheimer’s which can cause dementia is an illness with many up hill struggles and down times to get through

HELP ME GET TO MY HALF WAY TARGET PLEASE BEFORE MAY 🙏

94 days go I began running everyday and I will continue to run for the whole year because I am able to, I will run the Manchester marathon in a week and I will run a 100k on June the 15th because I can to raise money for Alzheimer’s research

BUT one day, who knows if I will be able to 🏃‍♀️
Who knows if I will not be able to run, because when I’ve set off I cannot remember how to find my home

Who knows If I won’t remember I run because I’ve been reset to 2006 when I didn’t run

Maybe I won’t know my own kids 🧒

Who knows, we don’t. We are however researching was to let us know if we will be at risk of a dementia diagnosis is our futures and ways this can be prolonged, prevented or cured

It is with great regret to inform you that with immediate effect little laundry will cease trading.

This has been a difficult decision to make. But with the ever increasing fuel and energy costs, and a major change in my personal circumstances, I feel this is the right decision.

I would like to thank all my loyal customers who have supported my business over the last 5 years.
