July is coming to an end: a month of hydrangeas, hollyhocks, cornflowers and jasmine. Giving way to sunflowers, gladioli and dahlias. This is Notting Hill in July in my London illustrated calendar. I didn’t post new works this month, but I’ve created quite a few. 16 editorial illustrations, 3 portraits, some events illustrations that I didn’t count and one piece for a competition that I’m not able to finish by the deadline and it’s sad because I like how it’s coming out.

Went to see Summer Exhibition in Royal Academy. My children are not really into art, but they liked it (and Young Artists even more so). I never applied to it because I’m too terrified of rejections, but we decided with Peter to try and create something for the next year: he - for the Young Artists and me - for the Summer Show. Maybe we need to promise ourselves a nice treat just for the courage :). Like this limited edition sandwich pistachio and strawberry sandwich from M&S - we bought it for picnic in Green Park after the show and it turned out to a highlight of the afternoon

Art print sale continues. Here are the very first of the prints that I ever offered and they are black and white. I think most of my friends already own the Hampstead ones:). Summer sale of all my original watercolours and prints! Just 2 days: Sunday 26th and Monday 27th of July. Framed and unframed works. We are doing some works in the house and I decided to make some space and run a sale. Special prices only these days, then I’ll pack and hide everything and close the shop until autumn. I you like any other art form from my feed - message me, I might have it.
1. Borscht watercolour on paper. 42x28 cm unframed. Slightly bigger - framed. Was £400, now £360 framed.
2. Magnolias. 21x29 unframed. Now £130, framed.
3. Beetroot. £120.
4. Hydrangeas basket (I have 2 versions) £120.
