Our cleaners look after your workplace. And we look after them.

This World Mental Health Day, we're thinking of the people whose work so often goes unseen. Across the sector, 38% of cleaners have quit a job because of a lack of recognition and burnout, and 56% of washroom users wish they could thank them. (Tork survey, European Cleaning Journal).

At Cleanology, our people have mental health forums and buddy systems, financial advice and counselling, quiet spaces, a neurodiversity group, and Thanks badges, our staff recognition scheme.

People grow with us: 47% of our head office team were promoted from within, with clear routes to progress and the opportunity to build a career with us. And we listen: 70% of staff suggestions have been actioned, and our Employee Net Promoter Score is +59.

🪥 1 in 5 children in the UK regularly go without basics like toothpaste.

This National Hygiene Week, we’re sharing Dominic Ponniah’s conversation with Julia, who runs The Hygiene Bank’s Twickenham branch.

She sees the effects of hygiene poverty every day, with many families going without essential items, from toothpaste to deodorant, and, as Julia says, tooth decay is now the biggest cause of hospital admissions among children.

That’s why our sixth annual Hygiene Bank Charity Evening matters more so now than ever. Every pound raised helps get these basics to the families who need them most.

Here's a recent client project that transformed a tired floor into a sparkling finish. As the client put it, "The floor looks fantastic. It looks like a completely new floor." It's amazing what the right team, the right equipment and a wealth of expertise can achieve.

A few members of our team recently visited Foremost’s new Northern warehouse for a behind the scenes tour of their facilities and to learn more about the processes behind their products and operations.

It was a fantastic opportunity to strengthen our partnership, explore innovation within the supply chain, and see sustainability in action firsthand.
