When I mention male hygiene units to business owners and facilities managers, I often get the same reaction. A puzzled look.

A brilliant day today installing our Hygiene For Him units and “Lumpy Ball” awareness posters at The Fort Business Centre for Evans Enterprises.

This campaign is about far more than washroom services.

It’s about dignity.
It’s about awareness.
And sometimes, it’s about helping start conversations that could genuinely save lives.

Millions of men live with conditions linked to incontinence, often silently. Something as simple as providing discreet hygiene facilities can make a huge difference to someone’s confidence and wellbeing in the workplace.

Alongside the installations, we also placed our “Lumpy Ball” posters on the back of cubicle doors to help raise awareness around testicular cancer and encourage men to check themselves regularly.

A huge thank you to Jess and Julie for supporting the campaign and helping us push this important message forward. It was fantastic to see Julie proudly holding their certificate of support for Hygiene For Him.

This is exactly the kind of partnership that shows businesses can care about people as well as premises.

Over 58,000 men are diagnosed with male-specific cancers every year in the UK.

But here’s the question…

Are our washrooms actually set up to support them?

For many men dealing with incontinence after treatment, the simple reality is there’s often no discreet or dignified way to manage it in public or workplace washrooms.

That’s something we think needs to change.

We’ve just published an article explaining why male incontinence bins should be a standard feature in every washroom, and the difference this small step can make to dignity, hygiene and awareness.
