Smoke evacuating from below the chimney pot? Would you say this is an ‘immediate action required’, ‘advisory’ or ‘no issue at all’?

30/10/2026

Is that chimney growing a tree…

29/10/2026

A Halloween themed stove 🤣

29/10/2026

Why is there so much rain inside the stove even though it has a rain gaurd?

29/10/2026

Guess the expiry date of this crisp packet found behind a fireplace?

28/10/2026

Drawing well so far…

But would you say it’s ready for a liner and log burner?

28/10/2026

We had a little supervisor watching our smoke test today… think he agrees it’s a pass 💨

A big job for the team! 👀

This massive inglenook fireplace with a Jetmaster hadn’t been used for years, so the customer wanted it swept and inspected before lighting it again.

We found the flues packed with bird nests, definitely one of the worst we’ve had in a while!

27/10/2026

What’s going on here… 👀 Two brick flues for one open fire? Have you ever seen this before?

27/10/2026

When the flaunching starts to lift, it’s not just the cement that’s at risk! 👀

Here we have the flaunching breaking away, with the cowl and liner attached. A good reminder to keep an eye on the condition of your chimney stack before a small issue turns into a bigger repair.
