An odd one this. Champagne bottle was holding an almighty debris-bomb in place, including a mummified bird. One wrong move and Boom! All sorted & clean as a whistle now. Unfortunately the fizz was quaffed in 1988. 🍾

‘‘Tis the season for kamikaze pigeons. They fall off the chimney pot & can’t flap their wings so find their way to the bottom of the chimney. If you notice debris falling into your fireplace it’s probably a frustrated bird. I can remove the bird alive to fly away happily IF you call me in good time. The dead bird in the picture was a victim of tenants calling their agents who called the landlord & in the meantime poor birdy passed away.
