Platform Platform is a creative and wellbeing hub for Islington's young people.

The former Hornsey Road Baths laundry is now transformed into a theatre, performance space, media suite, a recording studio, workshop, dance studio and a cafe. Outside of the youth programme the spaces are available to hire to community organisations and businesses. Nearest Bus routes:

HOLIDAY PROGRAMME! Gain confidence through comedy with Stand Up for Yourself. Thinking about going to drama school but not sure if it will be right for you? We are teaming up with RADA to offer a free five day course over October half term to help you decide. It's for young people aged 16-24 who live or study in Islington. Everyone one the course will get a free audition to RADA worth up to £76 as well as actor headshots. Paint Platform! Explore new skills, unlock your creativity and gain insight into the creative industries with this holiday project that starts Monday 23 July. You will get hands-on experience creating your own pieces of art through illustration, painting and printing. You will help design a big and bold piece of public art work that will be showcased at a public exhibition. The project includes group visits to galleries, community arts venues and public spaces with art displays. This is a free Summerversity and Launchpad project for 13-19 year olds.

Say it like you mean it with a fun way to explore issues around identity with The Poetry Society. Create new poetry with spoken word legends Joelle Taylor and Travis Alabanza. Starting on Monday 23 July a week of writing and performance workshops will culminate in an appearance at the Go Islington festival at Highbury Fields on Sat 28 July. Suitable for 13-19 yr olds of all levels.
