Many thanks to everyone who attended 'lucky dip' doubles competition yesterday.

Eight teams competed in two groups for a spot in the final with Thomas Clemas & Peter Davies topping Group 1, and Keith Thomas & Iwan Williams showing to be the strongest pair in Group 2. Both teams having won 5 of their 6 group stage frames.

A mention to David Hudson and Finley Hayward, plus Louis Mayers and Steffan Walters, with strong showings in their respective groups.

After a cagey few frames and some very solid safety play, it was Keith & Iwan who prevailed as 2-0 winners.

Thankyou to Paul Adams and Tom for their help before, and on the day. Hopefully we can squeeze another competition in before the league season starts in September...................................................................................

Cystadlodd wyth tîm mewn dau grŵp am le yn y rownd derfynol; Thomas Clemas a Peter Davies ddaeth ar frig Grŵp 1, a Keith Thomas ac Iwan Williams yn profi i fod y pâr cryfa yn Grŵp 2. Roedd y ddau dîm wedi ennill 5 o'u 6 ffrâm yn y cam grŵp.

Sôn am David Hudson a Finley Hayward, yn ogystal â Louis Mayers a Steffan Walters, gyda berfformiadau cryf yn eu grwpiau priodol.

Ar ôl ychydig o fframiau gofalus a gêm amddiffynnol gadarn iawn, Keith ac Iwan a lwyddodd i ennill 2-0.

A big congratulations to Clwb Snwcer Llandysul Snooker Club member Keith Thomas on qualifying for the Welsh Seniors team.
As modest as ever, Keith kept his achievement fairly quiet but he'll be in Carlow this weekend to take on the Republic of Ireland Seniors team.

Mor ddiymhongar ag erioed, cadwodd Keith ei lwyddiant yn eitha tawel, ond bydd yn Carlow y penwythnos hwn i gystadlu yn erbyn tîm Hŷn Gweriniaeth Iwerddon.

A great day at Llandysul Snooker Club at the No10 Spring Knockout.
Keith Thomas and Tony Smyth got to the final, with Keith winning 2-0 with a great 51 break to knock Tony out.
Thanks to all who attended and for the great turnout.

This week we had a visit from World Snooker Services of Bristol. A big thanks to Eugene and his team who fitted No.10 tournament cloth to all 3 tables.

This week also marked the start of our ladder competition, and with the Ceredigion Summer league fast approaching, plus our own competition on Sunday, it marks a pretty busy period for the club!

Yr wythnos hon hefyd oedd dechrau ein cystadleuaeth ysgol, a chyda chynghrair Haf Ceredigion yn agosáu'n gyflym, ynghyd â'n cystadleuaeth ein hunain ddydd Sul, mae'n nodi cyfnod prysur iawn i'r clwb!

Well done to Geraint Davies on equalling his highest break of 93, just over a year on from his previous effort. Surely a century can't be far away?
