CLOSING DOWN
FRIDAY 31st MAY 2024

It is with a very heavy heart that we must announce the closure of Cleaning World Ltd. Soaring costs and pressures of running a small business, working 6 days a week for very little return indicates that it’s time to move on!
It has been well over 50 years servicing the cleaning requirements of North Wales and many miles beyond since its inception by Tony Johnson and latterly myself, not forgetting Mimi (as we all know her) who has been here the entire time!
We are receiving many wonderful comments from customers that already know of the closure and that suggests that on the whole we have done you proud in our time.

It’s been a long hard struggle for 18 months! Furlough is over and today we returned to our full working hours. 08:45 - 5:30 Monday to Friday and 08:45 - 5:00 on Saturdays.
All staff are still here although Mimi is cutting her hours down as she’s getting on a bit now! 🤣
We are not out of the woods yet as we are nowhere near busy enough to sustain the short hours we were doing let alone full time hours! 🙈
I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our loyal customers for their support and for all the kind and caring comments we have received during this nightmare scenario……and also Conwy Council and Rishi Sunak without whom we would not have survived this far. It will be a long winter but the signs are promising 👍🏻

What to do, what to do! It’s Groundhog Day again!
I was thinking of opening up on 30th January but after the latest Government review keeping us in lockdown Cleaning World is staying closed for another 3 weeks. I am allowed to be open but unfortunately there is just not enough footfall to justify turning the machines on.

Here we are yet again!!
Following the latest Government announcement we WILL remain open on Monday 21st December, 9am to 3pm up to and including Christmas Eve. The situation after Christmas will be reviewed and updated depending on how many snowballs I've had!!
