Burnright - Helping Installers Tackle Fake News
The solid fuel industry has taken a hit lately due to the avalanche of fake news surrounding woodburners and multi fuel stoves. Weāve had reports of customers cancelling orders for new installations in the mistaken belief that stoves are going to be banned.
This is not only massively frustrating, but also very worrying. Thatās why itās now time to fight back.
Yesterday, Burnright unveiled the attached A5 flyer which you give to your customers - now available athttps://burnright.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2019/03/Burn-Right-Fire-Facts-A5.pdf
Hereās three things YOU can do to give YOUR business the best chance of succeeding.
1) Have Some Burnright Literature To Hand Out
Most customers who either walk into your shop or speak to you will have very little prior knowledge of the solid fuel industry. Being able to hand them some booklets to take away will make them feel more confident about the whole process, and also they are more likely to engage with you further.
2) Answer The Question Before It is Even Asked
Most customers will have seen the misleading news reports about stoves and woodburners. Some may still have reservations in the back of their mind. Itās better to be upfront and help put their minds at rest. Simply acknowledge the issue and then explain the facts. You may also want to give them a copy of our new leaflet Fireplace Facts, which is a Q&A Factsheet.
3) Include A Link To The Burnright Website In Your Estimate/Quote
As youāll know only too well, being invited to quote for an install isnāt a guarantee that youāll get the job. Youāll probably be among two or more other companies who have been asked to quote. By being able to point your potential customers to the Burnright website, it will enable them to get further information which may very well land you the job... either because their fears about ābanningā stoves has been allayed, or because they now understand the importance of having a good quality installation.
