🫧 Little product recommendation from me! 🩵

I get asked quite a lot what products I actually use and recommend, so I thought I’d share one of my current favourites!

This Flash Bathroom Cleaner has honestly impressed me. It smells absolutely amazing (without that overpowering chemical smell 🤢), cuts through soap scum and grime really easily, and does a brilliant job on limescale too.

It’s one of those products that makes cleaning bathrooms that little bit easier, and the fresh smell lasts afterwards too. ✨🚿

Just a little heads up though… it’s not suitable for marble, natural stone, stone-containing enamel or enamel that’s over 10 years old, so always make sure you read the label before using it.

As with anything I recommend, this is just my personal opinion from using it while cleaning. If you’re looking for something to make your bathroom sparkle without the harsh smell, I’d definitely give this one a try! 💙

What a wonderful week it’s been so far 💕✨

I just wanted to take a moment to say a huge THANK YOU to every single one of you. You are all so kind, grateful and understanding – honestly, I have the best customers ever! 🌸

My new way of working (not to the clocks!) has made such a difference. It’s taken such a weight off my shoulders. This week I’ve been able to take a little longer at some houses without any stress, knowing I have the time to do everything properly. At others, I’ve finished a little quicker without feeling guilty, which has given me a bit of time back. It just feels so much better for me, and I hope for you too. 😊

All the lovely thank yous, the smiles, the cuppas and the little texts during the week really do mean the world to me. I’m so grateful.

One compliment I’ll never forget was from a beautiful 91-year-old customer who told me, “I’m treasured.” ❤️ I honestly had a little tear in my eye. To know someone feels that cared for, and that I’m treated like part of the family, is something I’ll never take for granted.

I genuinely feel so lucky and so blessed to do a job I love, for the loveliest people.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for trusting me in your homes, supporting my little business, and making every week such a pleasure.

📢 A little update from me…

After lots of thought, I’ve decided to make a small change to the way I charge for my regular cleaning visits.

Firstly… the good news! 🎉

Nobody’s regular price is increasing. ❤️

The only thing that’s changing is how I charge.

Instead of charging by the hour, I’ll now be charging per job for all regular Cleans 🧼

For most of you, you probably won’t notice any difference at all. I’ll arrive, do everything I normally do, and leave when your usual clean is finished. No more clock watching and no feeling like I have to rush to beat the clock, I have started this with a few customers and it’s working well so that’s why I’ve decided to continue this way with all my regular cleans

This also means that if I have one of those days where I’m not feeling 100%, or we’re in another heatwave 🥵, I can take a little longer without worrying about charging you extra.

On the flip side, if I happen to finish five or ten minutes earlier one day, that’s okay too. Those little bits of time soon add up and give me a chance to fit another customer in, catch up on paperwork or simply have a quick breather. Hopefully it also means I can avoid putting my prices up next year.

☕ Coffee & Clean customers – nothing changes for you at all. Your visits are just as much about companionship as they are about cleaning, so you’ll stay on your current arrangement.

🧽 New customers will still be charged by the hour for their first four weeks while I get to know their home and establish a routine. After that they’ll move over to a price-per-job too.

If any of my regular customers ask me to do something outside of our normal routine (a different area or something as well as what / where I usually clean), I’ll simply charge by the hour for that extra work.

Lots of cleaning businesses already work this way—I’m just a little late to the party! 😄
I genuinely think it’s a fairer, more relaxed system for both me and my customers.

Hello 👋

☀️ A little summer reminder…

This post isn’t aimed at anyone in particular or intended to shame anybody. 💚

Over the past few weeks, I’ve visited several homes where I’ve found fruit flies or maggots in food waste bins. With the hot weather we’re having, it can happen much quicker than people realise.

To help keep your kitchen fresh and pest-free:

🗑️ Empty your food caddy regularly.
🧼 Give it a quick wash and dry before replacing the liner.
🚮 Don’t leave food waste sitting for days, especially meat, fish or fruit.
🚪 Keep the lid closed whenever possible.

These simple steps can help prevent unpleasant smells, fruit flies and maggots before they become a problem.

If you have elderly relatives or neighbours who struggle to manage their bins, it might be worth checking in on them during the warmer weather too. A quick empty of the food caddy can make a big difference.

Stay cool and keep those bins clean! 🌞🧽

Just a little heads up from me 💕

As many of you know, the summer holidays are nearly here and, like lots of you, I’ll be juggling work around my boys too! ☀️👦👦

Over those 6 weeks I may need to swap a few cleans to a different day or tweak some appointment times here and there. I’ll always give you as much notice as I possibly can and do my very best to work around everyone.

Thank you so much for always being so understanding and supportive. It honestly means the world to me and helps me continue doing a job I absolutely love. ❤️

I’m really not sure how I’ve done it this week but I’ve completed a full weeks work in 30 plus heat

I’m now home , cold shower and stood in front of my fan

It’s been tough I’m not going to lie and some days I really was going to cancel but I cracked on

Thanks for all the cold drinks , ice creams and for those who made their homes cool for me it really did help and I appreciated it massively

Just for your information

I never ever like to cancel cleans and I’ll do my absolute best to continue to work however I’m going to take it Day by day , even hour by hour as the weather creeps up this week

Today I struggled , I swapped my coffee for water and made sure I kept as cool as possible however I had really bad headaches as the day went on

So although cancellation is my last resort as I don’t earn a penny if I’m not working , I will make my health and wellbeing a priority

If you genuinely don’t feel a missed week will make much difference let me know asap or if you would like a shorter clean maybe
Also I can do more of a company and check in for those who usually have a coffee and clean so I’m not taking away your loved ones company for the week

We can always find ways to work round this together ❤️💙

Ps My dog isn’t called moose , chat GPT is sometimes very forgetful 🤣

Just needed to pop this on here due to getting quite a few messages lately asking for my cleaning services and just wanted to clear some things up ❤️

Firstly I am fully booked up and this has been the case now for over 3 years , I also have a waiting list too for when slots do eventually become available so I can’t actually offer anyone a slot at the moment

I also now only take on clients who tick MY boxes , I’m blessed enough to be able to choose my customers and don’t need to just take on anyone who pops in my inbox and I am very fortunate I can do that , it makes my job so much more enjoyable

I don’t do deep cleans now and apart from clients already on my books I no longer offer basic cleaning to new customers , my focus is now on my elderly customers who are wanting my coffee & Clean service , I now prioritise those who require a little help , someone to keep them company and a coffee between friends ☕️

So when I open my inbox and find enquiries from people telling me how much they are willing to pay me and also how long a job will take ect I really do get a little flabbergasted 😮

Cleaners I find are sometimes ( not all the time ) are not given the respect they deserve and that makes me sad 😔

I’m registered as a sole trader with HMRC
I’m DBS certified
I’m reliable
I’m honest
I’m trustworthy
I’m passionate

So with respect my price is my price and if I’m out of your budget that’s absolutely fine but please don’t try to undervalue myself or my service , you wouldn’t go in Asda and start questioning the price of your shopping with the cashier 🫣

There are now lots of cleaning firms around my area and there is enough business to go round , I may not be the right fit for you and that’s absolutely fine

I am a cleaner who definitely believes not all cleaners fit their customers and that’s ok 👌

To have a cleaner in your home weekly it absolutely needs to work for both parties

I’ve changed the way I run my business over the 3 years I’ve been running it and now my priority is my happiness and also my customers needs

I’m not the same as most cleaners and I don’t mind saying that aloud , there are things now I just won’t do and it’s not from a place of laziness it’s from a place of “ I know what fits me best now “ trust me I’ve done my fair share of jobs I don’t like and life’s too short for that nonsense , some cleansers absolutely thrive on those before and after photos and I love that for them but maintenance and making a home calm and peaceful and offering company is now my passion

I am fully booked up at the moment on less hours than I’ve ever worked and I love it 😍

I do however have a waiting list and if your currently looking for someone to come keep you company and help you maintain your home then pop me a message and when a space becomes available we can see if I’m the right fit for you
