About the Role
As an Operational Specialist, you'll be one of the professional faces of Clean & Gleam, representing our business in customers' homes and commercial premises across Northern Ireland.
No two days are exactly the same. You'll work as part of a professional team delivering exceptional cleaning services while maintaining the highest standards of customer care and presentation.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering professional housekeeping and cleaning services in accordance with company standards.
- Travelling between customer locations throughout Northern Ireland.
- Representing Clean & Gleam professionally at every customer interaction.
- Providing excellent customer service and building positive relationships with customers.
- Conducting occasional in-person customer consultations and assisting with service recommendations where required.
- Completing basic administrative tasks using company-issued iPads and internal systems.
- Maintaining company vehicles, equipment and workspaces to a professional standard.
- Following all company operating procedures, health and safety requirements and training standards.

What We're Looking For
We're looking for people with the right attitude and professional mindset.
Applicants must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- Have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom.
- Be fluent in spoken and written English.
- Be reliable, trustworthy and punctual.
- Be physically capable of undertaking manual work.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate outstanding customer service skills.
- Be confident using an iPad and basic digital systems.
- Be willing to learn and follow structured operating procedures.
- Present themselves professionally and take pride in their appearance.
Previous cleaning experience is welcomed but not required.

Working Hours
Our operational hours are:
Monday-Friday: 8:00am-8:00pm
Saturday: 8:00am-4:00pm
This position is contracted for up to 40 hours per week.
We always aim to provide consistent working patterns and accommodate personal commitments wherever reasonably possible.
However, due to the nature of our business, shifts may be scheduled at any point within our operating hours to meet customer demand and operational requirements. Wherever reasonably practicable, you'll receive a minimum of 24 hours' notice of any changes to your scheduled working hours.

A relaxed, individual 30-minute conversation where we'll discuss your experience, ambitions and suitability for the role.

Stage Three - Operational Observation
A second individual 30-minute visit where you'll observe our professional systems and operational procedures in a live working environment.
Successful candidates will then complete the Clean & Gleam Academy before commencing operational duties.
