Exciting news we have a little diary space for weekly / fortnightly cleans coming up

Due to staff extending their diary hours we have some diary space available from September in Martin and Timberland village ONLY!

The cleaning team member who covers these villages and has space does not drive so we can only offer the service to Martin and Timberland.

We are fully booked for all of August.

My lovely regulars I have you pencilled in for ironing … I know some of you have gone on holiday but don’t panic I have you covered on your return and all my regulars you are in my diary already do not panic 😱 🤣

All new enquiries or adhoc ironing can be booked in from mid September onwards. I strongly advise pre booking as the diary is often full at least 3 weeks in advance.

All regular cleaning slots are fully booked. Any adhoc slots that come up will be offered to my list of people who wait for an adhoc slot and if still available after checking with my lovely adhoc folks will be offered on the page on a first come first served basis.

The end result of the time lapse!

My favourite part of a deep clean is the ‘ta dah!’ Moment 🤣

Have a fab Saturday folks I hope you are all spending it in the lovely summer sunshine and not scrubbing and cleaning.

I today am not cleaning, I have a baby shower to attend …. One of my daughters friends she has been friends with since reception in primary school - that is certainly making me feel old 🤣❤️ fingers crossed the sun keeps shining and that Holly has the best afternoon 🍼👶💞💐

This building we look after is a real labour of love. Each room needs cleaning ceiling to floor like this every year at least and in the middle we keep the spiders and cobwebs at bay. It’s not an easy clean as it’s all rough wood so we can’t run a feather duster along the walls as they get caught. We do have our tricks to keep it looking nice and then we get our steps and wash and scrub the walls in all the crevices and corners and then we wax the walls by hand ceiling to floor.

The end results are lovely and the place smells amazing when it’s been done. We do try and rotate the rooms so it’s never all needing to be done at once as it takes us full days as a team to get a room done.

Do you know we wash our cloths at 95 degrees C to ensure they are germ free. We also iron them for that extra ‘no cross contamination’ guarantee.

We also wash our white cloths and our microfibre cloths separately so our microfibres work better and are not covered in cotton threads.

We also NEVER use cloths on toilets, we only use disposable paper products to guarantee we are not transporting nasty germs in our vehicle or bringing a cloth to your home which could have been used on a toilet and then washed - it just doesn’t bear thinking about so we don’t ever do that!

Hygiene is absolutely essential when cleaning and we always ensure your home is cleaned with brand new fresh cloths that are as hygienic as they can possibly be.

My washing line tonight is a very satisfying sight. The micro fibre cloths are due to be out of the machine in half an hour and they will then be line dried to perfection.

To be environmentally friendly we dry and save our used cloths until we have a machine load then run a long hot wash to ensure hygiene!

Fun fact UV rays help to sanitise fabrics after washing so weather permitting our cloths always get a good dose of the suns rays before being ironed to make sure they are as clean as a clean clean clean thing can be 🤣🤗

If anyone is looking for a group holiday to Spain I highly recommend this stunning property. It’s owned by our very good friends neighbour in Spain and we had the pleasure of seeing the entire property first hand when we went away.

They accept large groups of cyclists, and there are lots of great cycling routes in the area! Dave also has a workshop for you to repair / tinker with your bikes should you need to!

The owners Tre and Dave are absolutely lovely people and their attention to detail and standards are second to none! If you want 5* in mainland Spain then look no further.

Give them a follow! If they didn’t live literally a 30 second walk from our friends we would have them shortlisted and want to book to stay. The place is utterly amazing!

We were lucky enough to get to know them and spend a couple of evenings with them and our friends and they really are lovely people with a budding business just waiting to welcome you x

We did something a little different yesterday.

We have a client on a private park with a stunning lodge.

(We can offer outside cleaning of lodges on private parks but we do not cover Tattershall Lakes - sorry folks)

This lodge has no outside tap and no hosepipe so we had a challenge to get this lodge cleaned.

We have a portable Jet washer which doesn’t need connecting to an outside tap.

We transformed this lodge using good old elbow grease and the portable jet washer.

We scrubbed, sprayed and rinsed and finally wiped down the outside of this lodge leaving it looking like new. Once jet washed all the windows were buffed and polished leaving the glass gleaming with no water marks.

It was definitely a hot job yesterday but the end results speak for themselves.

I’m not one for ‘gadget cleaning items’ as I’m old school and believe in doing things properly.

But I gave in and bought one of those super long mops to do ceilings and walls and oh my god they are a game changer folks!

I wash my walls using laundry detergent in water as it cuts through grease and smells amazing. Who doesn’t want their home to smell like fresh laundry? You could use zoflora as well though.

I love my mop, It’s my new obsession at home… a weekly wash of the walls and ceilings really brightens the house. I used to hoover the walls and dust them weekly using the brush attachment on the hoover and that did a pretty ok job in between spending hours on a ladder washing the walls etc.

This mop means I can mop the ceiling and walls every day if I want as it takes no time at all once you get used to the best way to use it. ❤️

Highly recommend these to you crazy ladies like me who like to clean the areas many of us don’t even consider 🤣❤️

If you want to get one for your home with plenty of mop heads I’m more than happy to book you in for a ceiling and wall wash. If you want your regular cleaner to add this in we can discuss how to fit it into your cleaning time or adding on half an hour each visit to get a room done as needed x
