We survived the summer holidays 🙏🏻

Well it’s not quite over but September 1st is a milestone that is welcome. 🙌🏻

At Pocket Rockets Jo and I are both Mums and have built and continue to build the business around our children. 🫶🏻❤️
For us time freedom is the ultimate goal BUT it does mean that to be able to continue to offer our emergency cleaning services it can be a bit of a juggle, especially when all of our staff are also mums and we are proud that we offer flexible working and school hours where we can. 🚀

So for the last 6 weeks or so we have scaled back planned work and let all of our teams have a much deserved holiday or reduced hours (ourselves included) but we are ready to step things up a few gears for Sept and into the Autumn months! 🙌🏻🚀

🚨 Emergency flood cleanups!🚨

The last few days have been floods floods floods and more floods! 💦💦💦💦

One of our national partners has been keeping all of our teams really busy for the last few days with dozens of severely flooded retail outlets and buildings! 🫣💦😳

Well done to all of our teams who are working tirelessly over this bank holiday weekend! 🚀🚀

🚀We stopped selling franchises! 😳
(Temporarily)

You may have noticed we haven’t expanded our franchises for a few months! 😳
If you looked close enough you may even have noticed our franchise packages have been taken off our website! 🫣

This is on purpose! ☺️

We always knew our franchises were priced accordingly based on the fact that we are new to franchising and have always been open and transparent that we were figuring things out along the way. 🙌🏻

We knew there would be bumps in the road and figuring out to do!

The first few areas have been able to take full advantage of that and the teams that have joined in the early part of this year have also benefited from early bird prices other advantages! 🙌🏻🚀

However we couldn’t keep our prices so low forever. 🫣

We didn’t know if it would work but we can categorically say hell yeah it works!
Everyone is smashing it and we are so proud of all of our teams! 🚀🚀🚀

But… we have also been keeping a secret 🤫

We have been in the process of joining the British Franchise Association and with their expertise and guidance we have revamped our 3 packages and our Franchise agreement! 🤩🤩

Our new Franchise agreement is with the lawyers as I type this and as soon as the BFA approval is through we will be able to let people register their interest! 🙌🏻

Most jobs we don’t post! ❌

I know I post some of the extreme cleans, hoarded houses and toilet bowls etc, however so so many jobs we do DAILY we just don’t/cant/wouldn’t post.

Lots of the jobs we do are too sensitive, we don’t have permission or are simply to graphic and inappropriate for public platforms.

Yesterday I went to assess and quote to clean “a scalp on a kitchen floor” 😟

…… I have images but they will not be posted for all of the above reasons.

But yes, someone had passed away and unfortunately on removal of the body the scalp was stuck to the kitchen floor and there is remains. The flooring company hired to replace the floor quite rightly won’t touch it until it’s professionally cleaned and this certainly isn’t a job for Barbera down the road with her marrigolds!

One of the team also went to clean up a dirty protest in a cell yesterday as well… also something that will never get posted!

No two days are the same that’s for sure!
