A huge shoutout to our amazing team, who have shown up to every clean this week and given it their all despite the scorching temperatures. We’re incredibly proud of every single one of them 🥰💛

Our priority during the heatwave has been making sure that everyone works safely. That meant plenty of water, regular breaks, pacing the cleans, and keeping an eye on each other throughout the day.

We’d also like to say a massive thank you to our wonderful customers who looked after us this week. We've been offered cold drinks, fans, and even the chance to cool down in air-conditioned rooms. Your kindness really does make a difference and is hugely appreciated 🙏🏻

🚫 Why We Don’t Use Bleach 🚫

Bleach might seem like the obvious choice to some, but we don’t use it in your home. Here’s why:

- It can damage and weaken surfaces like enamel, grout, metal, and natural stone (along with your flooring if spilled!)

- It can produce dangerous toxic gas when combined with other cleaning products, such as limescale removers or ammonia based-products

- It’s not actually a great cleaner - it disinfects and whitens but doesn’t remove dirt, grease, or limescale

- It’s harsh on your home, pets, and the environment

✅ What we do instead

We take a targeted approach. At your quote, we assess surfaces and any problem areas. Then use the safest, most appropriate products for each task.

*If bleach is preferred and provided by the client for the toilets, we will use it, but we prefer a good scrub with sanitiser and a toilet brush, and a pumice stone for limescale removal 🔥
