Personal and business development.

This year, I’ve focused on my own growth and acquiring new skills to better manage and expand my business.

Training sessions allow me to gain new knowledge or organize what I already know.

Networking is all about meeting and talking to people.
It leads to making new contacts—crucial for any business—and simply meeting interesting, inspiring individuals.
Sometimes, a single sentence—like "Hey, your problem could be solved if you just did it this way..."—leaves you speechless at how simple the solution is, especially when you’ve been mulling it over endlessly without ever hitting on that idea yourself.

I know... you might say I could have just typed the problem into an AI. I tried that, but the solutions I got didn't quite fit my needs.
AI is a fantastic tool that, when used wisely, will help us make better use of our time in the future. I definitely need to expand my knowledge of AI soon so I can leverage it more effectively.

However, using technology can never replace a conversation with another real person.

That’s why I plan to attend networking events—and not just in Lincoln.

As of today, our schedule for regular cleaning services is fully booked.
A huge thank you to all our loyal clients for this.🩷

I will be able to offer new slots starting in September—it’s worth keeping an eye on updates regarding availability, or you can sign up for our waiting list right now to choose your preferred cleaning day and time.

Holiday season has already begun for us.
You might see a substitute cleaner, or we can simply skip the slot if you’d prefer not to have a replacement.
Many of our clients go on holiday and ask to skip their cleanings during this time, so—as happens every year—my main calendar will be full of schedule changes.🙃📝😂

But, as always, we’ll handle it all.

A Pink Gnome Cleaning Sevice, we’re so grateful for your continued support and trust in our team. To help keep things running smoothly and fairly for everyone, we’ve introduced a small update to our payment policy.

⏳ Payment Window
• Payment is kindly requested within 24 hours of you had invoice. I always try to sent you invoice in cleaning day or next day.

💳 Late Payment Fee
• If payment hasn’t been made within 24 hours, a 10£ late fee will be added to your next invoice.

💡 Helpful Tip
• To avoid any fees and make things easier you might like to set a reminder on your phone in day with your clean.
• Pay immediately after receiving the invoice number.

Why This Matters 🤔

Please know this decision hasn’t been made lightly.
As a business, I pay my team promptly for their time and hard work, sometimes from my own pocket. I having to wait for up to a lot of money to be put back into my personal money at the end of a working time.

I currently spend a great deal of time checking whether invoices have been paid and sending payment reminders (unfortunately, invoicing software doesn't handle everything and I have to have control over itb).
This comes at the expense of the free time I should be spending with my children or simply using to rest.

So timely payments are really important to keep everything going.

Just like any service or shop, payment is due once the job is complete.
I truly appreciate your understanding as we continue to deliver a top-quality clean with care.

NEW SLOTS - SEPTEMBER

Currently, I have just one remaining bi-weekly Tuesday slot open in select areas, so I cannot take on more than one new client at the moment.

I look forward to offering new slots from the beginning of September — keep an eye out for updates on availability.

That said, if you’d like to book a day for yourself in September right now, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

We are slowly approaching the holiday season, which brings a bit of a scramble to coordinate schedules around short getaways and longer holidays — both for us and for our wonderful clients.
But, as always, we’ll manage it all.

This week has been very demanding for everyone due to the weather.
I'm glad it's going to be a bit cooler next week and we'll be able to catch our breath.

Next week will be particularly busy for me, with a full schedule of meetings, business networking, and a new training course.
As always, I’m excited about these new challenges and the opportunity to learn something new.

I will try to post some information about this here whenever possible.
