Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Greater Preston Area for a Workshop Operative/Power Washer at Centurion Blast Cleaning Ltd. Daily responsibilities include operating power washing equipment to prepare surfaces, assisting with general workshop tasks, ensuring compliance with health and safety guidelines, and maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the workspace. The role may also involve helping with other protective coating processes as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience and proficiency in handling power washing equipment and performing surface cleaning tasks
- Familiarity with workshop operations, including equipment maintenance and organisation
- Knowledge of health and safety practices in an industrial environment
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results
- Effective time management and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Experience in the protective coatings industry or similar fields is a plus
- Technical aptitude or previous training in blasting, coating, or related services is advantageous
