Another fantastic day with one of our regular customers 👌

Last week we cleaned all the sofas and chairs, and this week we returned to bring the carpets back to life!

As always, we take extreme care while working in our customers’ homes — protecting paintwork, carefully moving hoses throughout the property, and working methodically from start to finish.

🏡✨ Moving In? Make Sure It’s Actually Clean! ✨🏡

We were called out by a customer about to move into a rented property. The letting agent assured them the carpets had already been cleaned… but something didn’t feel right — especially as the tenant suffers from allergies.

We carried out a full inspection the day before and quickly confirmed the same concern… the carpets were far from clean.

The agent explained they use a company because they’re cheap. We understand budgets matter — but when it comes to cleanliness and health, cutting corners can cost more in the long run.

🚐 The next day, we got to work…
And the results speak for themselves.

Using our CRB (Contra Rotating Brush) machine, we:
✔️ Agitated deep into the carpet fibres
✔️ Lifted years of trapped dirt and debris
✔️ Worked in our professional pre-spray solution
✔️ Brought fibres back upright for a full, thorough extraction clean

The amount of dirt removed was shocking — even though to the untrained eye, the carpets looked clean!

🚨 Another Rescue Job Done Right! 🚨

We were called out to help a customer after another company had already attempted to clean her carpet… and unfortunately, failed miserably — while still taking payment. 😬

When we arrived, we found years of ingrained water rust stains that had been left untreated. But unlike some, we came prepared with the correct chemicals, professional equipment, and the expertise needed to tackle the job properly.

This customer was convinced their carpet was beyond saving and were preparing to replace it entirely… but we had other plans!

Since the day it was laid, this carpet had never been professionally cleaned. Over time, dirt and soils built up deep within the fibres until they became overloaded, forming what we call in the industry “Black Top” — a solid crust of grime on the surface, commonly seen in high footfall areas like pubs and clubs.

After several hours of intensive cleaning, we were able to remove a huge amount of dirt and staining, restoring the carpet and completely transforming the room. The difference was incredible — brighter, fresher, and a very happy customer! 🙌

Velvet sofas need very special care – and that’s exactly what we provide at Cranes Carpet Cleaning.

This sofa had heavy black-top oil and grease staining on the arms, and the customer didn’t think it could be removed… but for us, it was no problem at all 💪
