Recently called to a commercial customer who had an issue with mice in their workshop/ offices.
It was quickly identified that the ingress points where under the doors through the bristle strips and a large gap under the frame. Recommendeds for a removal treatment, the fitting of Raxit strips to the bottoms of the doors and the sealing of gaps were carried out and now the building is rodent free. 🐭

Completion of a honey bee removal from a redundant chimney last week. The bees had been busy and the colony stretched down 9 courses from the chimney pot. I was able to remove all the comb, honey and bees and then relocate them with a beekeeper. The chimney was then reinstated and caps installed with an insect barrier in them to prevent any further bee access but also allow the chimney to ventilate. 🐝 EM Pest Control 07743475519 🐝

Bird proofing job completed today. Last week I got a call from a customer stating that they had large number of flies in their lounge and that they believed they had a bird stuck in the chimney. I attended the property and removed the carcass aswell as other nesting material from inside the chimney. Returned today to fit a bird guard to the chimney to prevent any future issues. Called by a customer today as they had seen a rodent in their kitchen. We attended and identified the issue being related to rats 🐀
On closer inspection it became clear that the rats where gaining entry through a redundant waste pipe, left in from a previous downstairs toilet 🚽
We also identified a second pipe as a possible entry point as it didn’t appear to be used by any of the services from the property.
Moving forward the redundant line is to be capped off to prevent any further rat access, a cctv drain survey is to take place to determine any other defects and an internal trapping programme to remove any rats left inside the property.

Pigeon proofing job completed today in Fleckney. Spikes installed along the top of the fence and spikes to the edge of the roof to stop the birds from making a mess on the patio below.
We do other proofing works such as solar panels, satellite dishes and tv aerials.

Job completed by us today. Pigeons had been roosting on a pair of satellite dishes on neighbouring properties in LE4. This was causing a mess on the wall, drive and any cars parked below. We installed spikes to the dishes and cleaned up the mess caused by the pigeons.

Bird proofing job completed by us today in Kibworth. Starlings had been entering under our customers roof tiles and nesting in the soffits/ loft.
The birds can be noisy, make a mess and also the nests could be a source of an infestation of insects such as bird mites and carpet beetles.
Perfect time of year to get any bird proofing done before they start again next year.
