To all customers of Excel Dry cleaners. We regret to inform you of the passing of Johns wife .We will be closed Friday April 28 until 2 pm to allow for staff to attend the funeral which will be held at Rawdon crematorium at 10 am. Anyone wishing to attend is welcome

Dear customers. From Monday next week the government will remove the final COVID restrictions including the wearing of face masks and social distancing. Given the alarming rise in cases of the new variant we intended to carry on with the practice of face masks , distancing and continually sanitising until it is brought under control. You will be welcome to enter the shop without a mask but would recommend for all our safety that you choose to do so. Hopefully not too far down the road total normality will return. A very happy Easter to all our customers. From Monday 12th April we are delighted to inform you that we shall commence opening from 9.0 am to 5.0 pm Monday to Friday and from 9.0 am to 1.0 pm on Saturday. Hopefully our lives will steadily start returning to normal and we look forward to cleaning all your “going out” clothes again. Don’t forget we can clean all your curtains, rugs, sofa covers and throws as well as your duvets , pillows and bedding. Why not have your puffa jackets and warm coats cleaned and refreshed ready to wear next winter. We specialise in high end and designer versions . Look forward to seeing you all again soon. Dear customers. With the lockdown now firmly established footfall throughout the city has fallen dramatically. While we are still committed to keeping our services available we have reduced our opening times to 10am to 2.0pm Mon to Fri and 10am to 1.0pm Sat. For anyone who cannot get into us please call 07590524828 and we will arrange a collection and delivery . We will resume normal service as soon as we can post lockdown. Please keep safe. Hello everybody. I hope you are all safe and well. It looks more and more like we are heading for another full lockdown around the 24th October when schools start their half-term break. May I suggest that if you have anything you need cleaning such as winter jackets and coats, or duvets, pillows and bedding as the weather gets colder that you get them to us sooner rather than later. Dear customers. We will be re opening on Monday 1st June at 8.30 am. We realise that many of our regular clients have missed the services we pleased to offer a welcome back discount of 20% on duvets, pillows, and throws and the same on all bedding for wash ,dry and press.
