Getting food marks out drum under an armchair. The carpet will lighten some more over the next few hours as it fully dries out. 😊

When we leave the carpet will be dry to the touch but the fibres will hold some moisture for up to 24 hours. Leaving windows open to create a cross breeze speeds this up.
